e40d problems downshifting
tranny has a problem cruising at about 20-25 mph...it shifts back and forth between 1st and 2nd very rapidly. it seems to happen when it downshifts only. Going thru all the gears 1-4 no problem. When the overdrive is off the downshift problem doesnt seem to happen. Also my tranny seems to shift thru the gears hard..i know i have the trans command on it but i think that it still shifts to hard. Also it seems as though it shifts too high in the rpm. I have replaced my FIPL and adjusted it accordingly which is 3.8 volts wide open key on motor off. anybody heard of a different adjustment with the trans command. anyone know what more or less volts will do. If i get 3 volts at Fipl will that make a shift earlier or will that lengthen shift
I think your missing some info...............
The closed throttle voltage: 1.1 V, .........wide open throttle voltage: minimum of 3.8 V but not more than 4.3 V
Closed throttle is the most important one.........warm engine KOEO
