4wd to 2wd conversion
Any body dealt with converting to a 2wd. Are the Ibeam mounting brackets on the frame, even though its a straight axle? Do I need to replace the engine crossmember with a 2wd one. Will the existing radius arm mounts work? etc, etc

What year is your vehicle? The '79/'79 utilize different frame 4wd or 2wd.
The '80-'96 are very easy to interchange, within certain limitations.
I just finished an '86 4wd front axle into a '91 2wd F-150.
I have all the stock '91 2wd front end parts in very good condition if they will help you.
