Question '96 Ranger brake lines

I am in the middle of replacing three rusted braklines, all three come out of what I am guessing is an ABS control module (has a electic motor on it). Once all three lines leave this module they go down to the frame attach with a plastic clip and from there continue on they journey, one to the left front, one to the right front and the last one goes to the rear end. I just took the 1st on off and noticed that underneath a protective plastic sleeve that part of the line is braided stainless steel. I figure this is to allow flexing betweeen the frame and the body. Should I (or even can I) buy this same type of line? I was thinking of NOT attaching the lines to the frame (where the rusted out piece of the line was) and just let ithe solid line float.

Any thoughts before I spend the rest of the afternoon/evening bending brakelines???

Thanks in advance
