Where does this "draglink" go? What do the ends attach to? Which spindle?
What Ford calls a draglink on the straight axle F350's...is just a bracket. There are NO flexible joints on this bracket, just some bolt holes, and a hole where it connects to the steering box sector shaft.
I'm looking at the parts illustration..what you are refering to is the steering connecting rod that attaches from spindle to spindle.
connecting end > I__ _________________________ __I < connecting end
The ends of the connecting rod are available as separate parts. These are the parts that wear, because they have a flexible joint with a threaded stud. Here are the original parts numbers, NAPA can cross them over.
