I have had diesel fuel in the cooling system. I've been told its an injector sleeve and I'm trying to figure out what side is leaking. I have pressured up both fuel rails to 60psi through the individual fuel lines. I watched for bubbles or any kind of movement of water from the the top of the water pump, at the thermostat openning, and nothing. Any ideas?
Bummer largefries. There is really only one way it will get in there as you know and you're looking. I would have to say that you might as well quit looking for the single leak and plan on replacing all the sleeves. The others aren't far behind.
Tally looks like this: injector cups, injector orings, new coolant and possibly a waterpump, oil change. Probably more but you want to fix it not just slap a bandaid on. Good luck.
By saying you have had I assume you mean you have. If you are not having then diregard the above.
yeah, your right, i do still have fuel in the coolant. I just wanted to find out which side was the problem. there may be one sleeve that is a common problem.

Well, you may be right and someone may chime in but I would be looking to replace all of them. Another clever design there eh?
