Thanks everyone.
hope that works out for ya man.

you can bet when them punks see the radar machine their gonna fly past as fast as possible. get a few good shots with the camera, present it to your neighbors and have them join you at town hall.

If all else fails get a few boxes of aluminum nails and spread around their property

I would love to salt some behind but, They do this in broad daylight with little children out in the open. I would love to pitch a broom handle through the front spokes but, an 8x8 bedroom doesn't excite me.

I don't know how your local newstation's "investigative team" is, but ours would jump all over footage of kids doing that in a neighborhood. The reporter would be at the parents house, the police department, city council, child welfare. . . demanding, in their usual "Holier Than Thou" attitude, why they've been derelict in their duties by not stopping this travesty! Might as well use those people to your advantage.

Personal injury to theses kids is not a good option. I want the parents to suffer for there blatant disregard for others.

The funny thing is, since I posted this. I have not seen any of them around.
Maybe they moved back by you.

well maybe you got lucky and someone with a little dinero spoke to the rich kids parents and were a little more convincing than the little guy. I was thinking one of those red laser things and lite em up in the eyes as they come down the street. You said its a dead end another thing to do is to get the neighbors together and see about blocking the entrance to the trails with maybe large rocks or something the ATV cant go over or around even if you have to buy those big cement blocks alot of cement companies make

I had talked to alot of my neighbors, and they were excited with the video taping idea.
I'm guessing word got around that "We were made as hell, and not going to take it anymore" My one neighbor has gotten arial shots of their bikes and atvs on their property.

Do you have a traspassing ordance? Hit them in the pocketbook. Post signs up stating no traspassing and when they violate it in the pictures take them to court.

Assclowns like those people give all dirt bikes a bad name. You are right in not rock salting or pitching a broom handle in the front spokes. If these kids are going half as fast as you say they are you could easily kill them. That would be kinda bad eh? Speed bumps will have no effect, you wont even feel them on a dirt bike at speed. Blocking the trail isnt possible either. They will just ride around. Are the trails that they are riding to legal? Your only chance is with the parents of the kids. I also doubt that they are going 70-80mph, that is a stretch for a full size dirt bike or atv, most kids bikes are luck to break 50.

Trust me they are doing more than 50. I tried chasing them once in my car, I could not keep up. Blocking the trails is not an option. We have hundreds of acres of open space, and horse farms. I think the cope sector of suffolk PD. caught one 2 days ago at the riding stables.

If your child has A.D.D that is that bad... Why would you let him (or any other child) play in the street? I wasn't even allowed in the front yard when I was growing up. My parents cared enought to see that I stayed where it was safe. A public street is NO place for children to play.

My son is 15, but has the maturity of a 9 yr old. He rides his bike on the roads to get to his friends houses.
