Front end "rattle'!

Front end "rattle'!
Have a slight rattle when going over bumps in the road... Front only.. With all the views on ball joints..could this be a symptom? Have raised the front and checked the ball joints, all seems well. No obviouos movement.
Any suggestions. I had a 1979 Mercury Cougar that used to make a similar noise and it was the control arm bushings...
