tinted rear sliding window

i have a tinted rear sliding window that i got from Jc Whitney some time ago. I ordered it for a 78 Ford f-250 regular cab that i had. i am wondering, will it fit an 89 f-150 regular cab. The shape of the window looks the same.. But i just want to sure before trying to install it.

look at the application years back in the JC Whitney catalog. If it says that the window will work for 1978-1996 years of pickups, then it should work.
