engine selection/efi compatibility
I've got 200,000 miles on my 85, and it's time to get a new engine. right now I've got a 302 with EFI. I'd like to realize a modest increase in performance, without sacrificing reliability. My budget for this is $1,500-$2,000.
I'm considering installing a 351, and I'm wondering if this would just be opening a whole big can of worms. for instance, would my EFI be compatible with a 351, would my present cooling system keep up, etc. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who's made this switch.
