Throttle body spacers are a waste of good aluminum on these trucks.
Back in the day, you could use a carb spacer to "kinda" increase the length of the intake runners to the cylinder heads. Thats back when the runners were what, between 4-8 inches long?
Fast forward to today, take a look at your plastic intake manifold. The runners fold over and loop around etc to make them much longer. Its not uncommon to see 12-18 inch runners on todays engines (take a look at an SHO 3.0!!). The throttle body spacer adds maybe an inch to this, giving you virtually no gain.
