I Served My Time...

After 15 months I have placed myself on parole. I have stepped down as a moderator here at FTE.

You guys have done a terrific job keeping this 6.0 forum on track. Kudos to you all. Keep up the good work and great info. There is not a better Ford / Diesel site on the web....and that's because of each and everyone of you.

It has been my honor and privilege to ride with you on this journey.

Be careful out there.

Keith

It has been a good ride for you Keith. It was certainly a pleasure having you at the reins of this forum.

I hope you'll hang around or at least check in once in awhile. Thanks for giving me a break the time or two when I needed that.

Take care,

Russ

Keith, thanks for all that you've done for us. Too many times we've been too wrapped up with our own issues to stop and say thanks.

Hope to see you around the forums!

Joe

What a shame to lose you as a moderator. Those of us who "sparred" with you in the early days (pre-grandkids) would've never have guessed you would turn-out to be one of the most patient and lenient mods on the board. I still can't believe you didn't ban us all. But, hey, there's still time!!!

Thanks for all your kind comments. I have had a special kinship with many of you over the years. My decision to become a moderator in the first place was a result of that.

While I have made many great friends and acquaintances here I hold a special regard for those that I have debated, corrected, or otherwise challenged over the years. For the most part, the discussions ended with a high regard for each other's position. For those that left us...well...it was likely for the best.

I am not leaving, though I probably will not be posting as much. The bad news for some....now I can post without regard to moderator guidelines...Since I am known for being the quiet, opinionated, shy type... ...some may be taken aback by my postings......

But, seriously folks...thanks....party at my house tonight at 7:00...I gots the beer...
