tranny noise?
i have a problem with my 1993 250 7.3 non turbno. has zf 5 speed and when idiling sound like wacking, like bearing is getting loose? was gonna rebuild it cause it needs new sychros. better to rebuild these or buy a reman? where can i get parts? somone said it could be clutch springs but it does the same thing with pedal in or out.
also book says atf and i chnaged it once came out like purple bad atf. changed it again and came out looking bad. my tranny seems to get hot guess they all do? would putting 85-145 lucas in it hurt? im acutually trying it now with the rest atf. seems ok??
