suspension problems HELP!!!

hey guys. new to the site so please bare with me. recently i have been taking my truck to the shop alot. i have replaced both side lower and upper ball joints, tie rod ends, struts, new tires, yet when im driving down the road and hit just the littlest of cracks in the road it feels very rough and i hear a slight rattle noise. one thing i have noticed is a kind of knuckle piece that conects my stabalizer bar to my lower control arm. the peice is L shaped and where it bolts onto the bar it kind of looks like a small ball joint. when i grab this piece and twist, it has a lot of play in it. i am sure the part is supposed to have some play in it but should i be able to just grab it and it twist and also could this be causing the rough ride in the front end.

They need to be replaced, there isn't supposed to be any play in them. But they can rotate it's up and down play you don't want.
And they are called stabilizer bar links.

Problems with these sway bar or stabilizer links seems to be fairly common. There have been several threads on this site and others about a clunk or pop in the front end especially when braking and turning. Mechanics who responded said replacing the links usually solves the problem. Recently my wife broke one on her Mercury Sable and it sounded like what you describe.
