Different sound after shutdown
I have the buzz flash and i know what that sounds like but when i shut my 06 down, there is a screech noise. It has done this since the day i bought it. I remember some of the cummins that i drove use to make this same sort of noise. As soon as you turn the truck off, there is the screech and now with the flash the buzz follows. Any ideas?

Mine does the same thing too, most of the time, not always. mine's an 06 and my dad has an 04 and his doesn't do it. Like you said, I've always heard the cummins doing it forever. It's my theory tthat it's the fan belt, but would like to know too. Hope someone comes along that knows.
