Valve replacement cost?
I have had this V6 sohc Explorer 4wd for 5 years and it has been in and out of shops for a miss-firing problem for some time. The computer and coil pack have been done. This last time the dealer was replacing (under warrantee) the last computer and they blew out the catalytic. Well, the cat. is on them, but the miss-fire is worse now and they called me today saying that it looks like twoo valves are bent.
They havn't pulled the head yet.
Any ball-park figures, or best/worst case scenerios?
