24' Party Barge
I dont know if it's cooth to post this type of question, but I figure the "general discussion" arena will mind, so here goes: I need a bunk style, tandem axle trailer for a 24 foot long party barge. (dual pontoon) And so nobody says, "buy one from a marina, I've checked around and had no luck. I could buy a new one for the tune of about 2000-2500, but need one for around the 1000-1500 range. The boat was a freeby and I cant justify spending more on the trailer than the boat is possibly worth. Ya know? I live in the Russellville, AR general area and will appreciate any and all assitance.

$1000-$1500? Probably not going to happen. I am not saying it can't, but it probably wont. I mean, the axles themselves will cost close to $700, that is if you are going to have it built. Your best bet is to find a used one in the weeds somewhere that you can offer someone some money for. Try this site. www.qqclassifieds.com It is for a search site in louisiana. I know it is out of your area, but we have a lot of boats here and there are several pages devoted to boats and trailers. As far as value, you got it free, but if you had to pay for it, the hull alone would probably be at least a grand and if you had to repower with a new motor, it could cost you 5 to7 grand.
