Today, i messed up my bumper (long story). It needs to be replaced and i would like to get somthing like a ranch hand rear bumper or just really heavy duty. Wheres the best place to get one used or new at a good place. Ive already looked on ebay and they have some good prices. I just want to shop around though before i buy.
I was looking at somthing more like ranch hand or tough country. I was wondering, were is the best place to buy these at besides ebay?
Also since i will be getting the rear bumper, i will need to get a front bumper to. Which bumper guard is the strongest? Ive heard that ranch hands are really strong. Is buckstop stronger?
In my opinion road armor looks the best and is the strongest. Buts its way to expensive. People all over the internet said besides road armor, ranch hand is the second strongest one.
The south texas outfitters, doesnt look that bad. It looks like ranchand. Do you know were they sell used south texas outfitters?
Ranch hand bumper guard (front) cost like $1,500 brand new. On ebay this guy is selling them for $650 to $800. Either way im going to buy the ranch hand as the front (when i get it). but im mainly focusd on the back bumper, since i damaged it. The ranch hand for the rear from this guy is $425.00 and the tough country from this guy is $350.00. The one thing i really like about the south texas outfitters (stt) are those lights that are on the rear bumper. but that bumper doesnt look like it can allow you to use the hitch. Im going to ask the guy on ebay if i can use them with lights like he stt ones.
No, but thanks for asking anyways. Im looking for somthing alot more stronger then the stock bumper, so this doesnt happen again. Better to buy one new bumper then 2 or 3
Get somebody to weld mounts to it It would be tougher than anything else you can buy, and prolly cheaper too. And not to mention it would look like you mean business Heck, you could even use the stock hitch!
Ive seen one of those cheapy 600 dollar ram bars up front that DESTROYED the back of a lumina up to the rear seats and the only damage to the truck was the ram bar was sightly bent back and scuffed the paint on the expedition. I coulndt imagine what these would do in an accident. Maybe a small scratch on the bumper?
The bumper wouldnt be damaged period, even if you were going 40 or 45 mph's. Its 4 inch steel tubing thats high grade steel. The only thing that might be damaged is the small tubes that protect the grille and lights. Im tlaking about the ranch hand.
