sunroof setting?
My sunroof had stopped working so I removed the access panel to see if there was any evidence why. When I removed it a screw fell down which appeared to have held the motor to the bracket. After the screw was replaced the sunroof works but not in the same manner. It stops automatically at about two inches from closed position, but with another touch of the button, it will auto open all the way. When I am closing the window it stops at the same point as when opening, and closes all the way with another touch of the control. Also, the lift operation of the sunroof is not working at all. Is there some sort of adjustment that would cause the window to stop at a different point as before, and maybe also be the cause of the lift action to fail since it works only at the regular closed position?

If I recall correctly, there is a little rack and pinion system the operates the glass. You can remove the rach (cable) from the pinion (motor) at its stopped position and realign.
