I bought a set of steps for my 1993 F-150 I-6. When I put them on they didn't hold me up because the floor was rusted out. Now I have to put a patch planel in to use the steps. Word to the wise check for rust!!!!
There are allot of steps/running boards that bolt to cab . We use a heavy duty u shaped step about 12" wide on our Company trucks and they bolt right to cab .
I never had that bad cab rust . The bed/fanders usually goes and won't pass inspection . And at 25000 miles year I just get another truck from down south and start over. Them part out my old one. Worth way more that way. But I will say I had 1 truck that look solid under it but had carpet that guy must have parked in river every day as floor was almost gone under carpet.
