Connection problems

I haven't been online much lately. My cable connection has been giving me trouble. Its working fine this morning but it may quit any minute. I couldn't get on at all the last few days. I have a service call for tommorrow. I should be fixed after it.

They found the problem. The service box behind my house is bad. It should be fixed by this afternoon. I didn't think it was my computer.

I did something today that really helped my surfing. I downloaded Firefox. Its the best browser I've ever used.

Don't ever try cable Dutch. You will hate dialup after you do.

Cable, no. I had DSL in Norfolk... Why do you think I hate dial up as much as I do now?

But now is not the time to get it where I live - they still think it's about A-BOMB cool, and the price is sky high from a system as yet unpaid for.

I always thought I would build my own sat-uplink in this circumstance, but I have a clue for ya...

The reason RV's don't have a dedicated internet capability, is because the cell-phone people have a device you can plug into your lap-top to get online, AND IT'S CHEAPER!!!

ANYWHERE you have cell coverage...
