Being an avid Chevy driver since "birth", I never thought I would agree with that statement, but I LOVE my 2007 F-250!! Yes, the slant eyed front end of the chevy just really turned my stomach, enough to switch to the "dark side"...
Eh, no. Not yet. The transport that was supposed to haul it last Fri , the driver said the truck was too big and wouldn't fit on the trailer. Now I didn't find this out until Mon. night after several e-mails and several voicemails left at TDA. Now giving credit where it's due Stacy seemed to make getting my truck to PA her #1 priority, because it was on a trailer Wed. afternoon. I talked to the dispatcher yest. and she feels I should probably see it Sun.,Mon. at the latest b/c they had to pick up a few more on the way up. So I am now happy- my truck is on the way!! It is amazing how people change their tune when you tell them that you haven't left feedback on ebay yet, and you would like to give them a positive comment. That seemed to get the fire burning. Sooo, hopefully there'll be another turbo whistling around Collegeville Sun. afternoon
I'm getting mine from Texas Direct Auto, they are kind enough to arrange transportation and it is already prepaid- $875. The woman I spoke to ( who hasn't responded to 3 messages I left in 24 hrs) tells me they're having a hard time finding a hauler to bring it up here. The not knowing what's going on part is killing me. I overnighted the check last Wed and my truck, as far as I know, hasn't even left Texas yet! Hopefully she calls tonight as I also spoke to the salesman I bought it from and he told me she's been in-n-out with car haulers all day. Hopefully my truck is one of the ones being hauled out. How long did it take to get here from Missouri?
I can't take it! only 1600 miles! buy an airplane or train ticket ASAP and get your butt out there and drive it back. There may be problems not visable from ebay that you will spot in Texas allowing you to force the dealer to make good. Lots easier to do that in his shop that 1600 miles away. Youll enjoy the drive, SD CC's are a pleasure on the highway, tons of room to stretch and lots of goodies<smile> I drive mine mostly highway, 454 miles one way to my farm and then 454 to work!
If you see a red F250 crew cab short box around Collegeville this weekend with a green ATV on top of the bed, that'll be me.
I'll be doing yard work and watching my kids, thanks for rubbing it in Keep an eye out for me Mon, it has a color-matched cow pusher bumper on front. bfloyd, I have 2 small kids and a job, I just can't drop what I'm doing and fly to Texas and spend 2-3 days touring the States while driving it back. My wife also works, in fact this whole wk-end including Mon. As appealing as that would have been it just wasn't doable. Also it is supposed to be here sometime tomorrow or Mon at the latest, the shipping company told me yest.
Hey D8, I agree with some of the other guys, drive that truck home if you can! I went out to Ft.Worth area about 2 months ago and drove back my '04 CC PS SB FX4 Lariat. My only complaint is that I couldn't take 2 weeks doing it. I had to get back in 2-3 days and the rig ran flawlessly with 112k on it. I hope your truck comes through as good as it sounds. The truck I came back with is not the one I went out for. The first one was not even close to the description or the pictures. Pictures can really be misleading. And underneath the dash and seats it looked like it had gone swimming, minor details the Carfax didn't show. Luckily there was a trade in on the spot and I made a deal for the second truck. Good luck to you and let us know how you make out.

Ah, didn't think of kids. I've most definately been there. I've had few job's that I couldn't get away from for a couple of days. I've always made it plain to my boss when hiring on that I will work any hours, anytime without complaint as long as he allows me to take off during huntin fishin season. I take that back, when I worked in the lunber mill I had to play the 9 to 5 game. I don't do well workin 9 to 5. But, when raisin kids I never had much time for anything but raisin kids!
ALLLRIGHTTTT, BOYS!!! Just got the call from the driver, the truck's on its way up from D.C. should be here @2-3 this afternoon! So, I guess I won't be back on for a few days as I will be out 'Strokin!!! The driver tells me I'll be VERY happy with my new truck, says it's a B.M.F.'er!!

Thanks, I'd settle for a few hundred K. She is SWEET! Tires aren't as new as described in the auction, hope they pass inspection-mostly the back, can't imagine why! Man does that turbo make some noise coming thru that 4" pipe! My wife just shook her head as I drove, messin' with the skinny pedal and making the turbo sing up-n-down! I absolutely LOVE this truck.Gave it a good "welcome home" cleaning last night. Did I mention that I LOVE this truck? Alot of people turn to look at it, maybe just to see whats' making all that whistling. Don't misunderstand, I don't drive it like a jerk but man do I love to hear that turbo spool up!!! Thanks for being supportive guys!
