frame rust
i have an 87 150 4x4 and i got it for free, i've known this for a while now but still have been thinking what to do. The front passenger side lower frame close to shock mounts is like swiss cheese. the rest of the frame is pretty good. I have a place here in town that does water jetting, i was thinking of getting some thicker steel cut and professionally welded to properly support these areas. truck runs great low mileage, just sat. so. should i continue or look for a nice roller. ? any thoughts are fine, just trying to decide. btw has 302 efi.

I would fix it up real good, Iam in the same boat with you, except i have floor rot driver and passenger. Its bad but not horriable still step on it, now what would i use for the floor and do i weld it on or screw it on. I was thinking a couple pieces of sheet metel
