I just finished flushing the water system and prepping the trailer for the camping season. The whole family is just itching to go somewhere and I've got to work next weekend which is a long weekend. Oh well, the money's going to be pretty good and the highways will be insane anyway. I think June will probably bring on that Friday/Monday flu...
It's designed/formulated so that it is not harmful to consume. Notwithstanding that, there were a few pumps I had prime by drawing water up into them in the age old siphoning gas way...
Drain the water heater.
Fill it up.
Drain it again.
Then fill it up...
Anti-freeze tastes nasty! Guess how I know?
Never had anti freeze in the water heater. I've got a bypass valve and drained it last fall. As for the rest of the system I drained, flushed and refilled 4 times. Finally got all the pink out. I hate the taste of that stuff.
