I am getting alot knocked down since I am not working. I am not getting as much done as I would like to due to being too sick at times. Its amazing how a little infected tooth can get someone down. I get my three remaining wisdom teeth cut out tuesday. (should have gotten them took out years ago just stubborn) At he end of next week I expect to be well. I intend to start knocking the needed tasks down like a madman. What I need to get done around the house could fill a library. My projects and trying to start working for myself would fill a couple more libraries.

Finally finished painting my garage today. Been putting it off for about a year. It was just a aggravating job as I thought it would be too. The hardest part was taking everything out and putting it back in. Now the wife wants to start on the kitchen.

Since you did the garage, you will have to do more than just one room in the house

I gotta paint and reroof the barn. Trouble is I hate painting and do not know how to install shingles. I guess there is only one way to learn.

Todd just go ahead and buy your paint by the 5 gallon bucket. You know when you are through with that kitchen your gonna have to start on the livingroom and beyond.

I have been down that road before. I painted one room in a house and it suddenly made the next one look worse. A real domino affect.

Last year I took a week of vacation the same week as my birthday and spent the week at home. My wife said " Hey, while we are on vacation, I would like to build a small brick patio". I said ok thinking a small brick patio, 2 - 3 days, it's done, mistake number 1. After 5 days of shoveling 3 loads of dirt to get the ground level, 2 loads of sand on top of the dirt to set the brick pavers on, and laying 12 square feet of brick, I have never been so happy to go back to work. People say that a bad day at home is better than a good day at work, you can't convince me of it.

BTW, my birthday is July 29.

Tell her the a-hole boss won't give you your birthday off this year, man. Save yourself the pain.

Motivation seems to be my problem. I stay busy but get bored with one task and jump on another. Adhd makes it difficult to finish anything.
