QUICK - Carburetor help! Choke

I was in the process of rebuilding my carburetor, and am stuck on the choke part. I removed the pull-down diaphragm to clean it. Now I can't remember how to reattach to the linkage. When I attach it, it does nothing, just sits there way too free and doesn't pull anything. Am I missing a retainer or something?

I know, I know...but this forum gets a lot of views and it is for a '79...

Yeah, I checked there. No diagram matches my 2150.

Yup, it is. I went looking into the junk section and found a '79 302 carb. It works the same way. I didn't realize it was vacuum opreated until I pushed the rod in and it blew in my face.

I went ahead and reassembled it. Sometimes the best source is your own junk in the basement.
