please help my tranny
i have a 87 ford bronco 4x4 with an 4-speed aod tranny with 110k.the other day i was driving to work when my transmission started acting up.i drove about a mile to the store where i find my fluid line has come off by the radiator and is losing fluid.i repair the line and refill with fluid but never regaind 3rd gear or overdrive.the dealer tellsme there are no vacum lines nor does it run through the computer. could i be missing something simple like a bad filter.or do i just need to get it rebuilt?thank you.
