Wink cool air

Just wanted some opinions...I have a 95 f150 with the 300 in it. Would anyone recommend a cool air intake for it, or should I just stay with the regular K&N that I already have in it?

Thanks for any and all opinions.

You truck already has cold air intake. If you really think that the air entering the motor ought to be cooler, disconnect the coolant lines to the TB...asuming you have them hooked up.

Wouldn't tinkering with the coolant lines in the TB screw with the emission control part of the computer and whatnot? I had attempted to make my wifes old Toyota run better by bypassing the coolant lines through the intake once. It just proved to me that the design engineers actually went to college, and really were smarter than me. That poor car never did run correctly again...

It wont hurt any Ford with an EEC-IV...in fact it will help unless you are driving in a subzero snowstorm. All it does is prevent the throttle from freezing thus keeping the driver from being able to control the throttle. This is a fairly common mod...not only with Ford but also GM, Mazda etc. etc.

As far as the Toyota, I have no idea how it is set up.
