OK, I had a problem last month. It started first thing in the AM. for a couple of seconds. Then it died and wouldn't restart. I jumpered the GPR a few times and got it to start. I replaced the GPR. This morning, same thing. but I had to jumper the relay for like a minute and a half. It's 68 degrees outr there. Any ideas??
Does it do it in all chip settings, including stock? Try starting in the stock setting. Also, how old are your batteries? Have you checked the voltage going through the GPR terminals to make sure it is working. Your GPs could also be getting tired requiring extra juice.
If all that checks out you may just be buying yourself time while jumping the posts in order for fuel to get up to snuff. Any excessive cranking or is it just enough to jump it first thing and it starts? If it takes excessive cranking and after warm starts just fine, may be drainback valve or low HPOP level after sitting a while.
Yep, I tried all settings. Batteries are 2 years old. What is the method of checking gpr voltage? Key on, key off?? After it started, it's started fine all day now. And the WTS light does come on and go off. Excessive cranking. Yes first thing, but not now that it's warm. Thanks for the input
