Howdy, VA boy checking in..
Hello. I bought a 96 F-250 PSD about two years ago from the original owner to tow my 26' enclosed car trailer..It only had 61,000 miles on it. Nice truck and does the job well. I'm getting the itch to "perk" it up some so I'm visiting the PSD boards. All ready been clued in on CPS...replaced it yesterday and have spare in glove box. I bought a used SuperChips 1700 and use the Safe Tow Mode....big difference. SuperChips Tech told me I should be fine using the Safe Tow Mode in my stock form. Looking to buy a EGT gauge next along with DP and fresh air intake.
That ought to be plenty for what i'm looking for...a little more grunt on hills and maybe better mileage...
There are a lot of lifes experiences with PSD to relate to on the boards..
