Well sherm if you want to you can but i like the bed rails to tell you the truth prep it seems like i get a bit better mileage and more power for sure it aint so restrictive cause when i stepped on it with my ol mufflers i used quite amount of gas now seems not as much im not 100% sure i havent been driving that long with them on to notice a difference but i tell yeah it seems like
my rpms are higher at a steady speed than before like at 90km its closer to 2000 than it was or its just my sight but they gave me a notice paper with the stickers and all that with the muffers it says these mufflers are so efficent that drastically reduces the heat under the engine and on all the hoses belts etc which could mean more power and better mileage but im happy with the mileage as it is when i drive nice
The K&N shounds nice in the 67 Mustang when I open up the 4 bl, just like there is no aircleaner.
I hope it`s doing a good job of filtering the air though!
thats always a point of contraversy for the k&n filters. i like them, usually get an extra 1-2 mpg on the highway, but some guys say they are useless. once again, different strokes for different folks...
Ive personally found, that with the k and n, if you stay ontop of it, and keep it clean, there is no problem. I also never had one when driving consistently on gravel, or dirtier conditions. I think If I drove gravel alot, I would consider changing it, but till then, no way!
Oh okay when i was at partsource they had there one cent event on buy a k&n filter and get a recharge kit for a 1 cent helluva deal but didnt go for it since i dont need it yet anyways
Oh man for a cent you should have got it, and you should have got me one also! It never hurts to keep the kit around, and i would have doubled your money!
