tranny problems
my '80 4x4, 4spd. borg warner. i know my 1st and 2nd syncs are wore, cuz you can't downshift into either gear, but would that cause a slip in first? it is real torqued like it's sposta be in first, but after about 2,000 r's the vehicle doesn't accelerate relative to engine rpm. 2-4 are good, but first feels like a slip or possibly the t-case still has the planetary engaged? I haven't had a lot of time to mess with it, but i would like some ideas.
