outside temp and compass not working
Hello, My overhead compass and temp gauges don't work unless you really give it a hard whack. SO, here is my question. How do I remove the overhead console thing so that I can get at the wiring? I dont know if the whole thing needs to come down or if the front part just pops out? Thanks a lot guys!!!

Hi,
I have a expl xlt. had same problem. got advice from a guy on this site, but now can not find him to thank. anyway:
In my case, you pull hard on the front (windows) secytion and it should hang down. some have clips etc. mine did not. but I pull the connector off and took the whole thing apart, but nothing inside was wrong, the connector was loose, is all it was.
pushed in hard togeather wraapped it with strong rubber bans to hold it and it works fine now.l
