abs light flashs whats wrong?
well i started to do my ebpv brake and got half way through. then i was done for the night and took it for a little drive. and the abs light started to flash. i had all the wires hooked up{doing this from steve bazz's page} except the ones going to the ebpv and the tc lock up. everything was working my indicator light would go on every time i stepped on the brake and had no brake or abs light on. then i hit my brakes really hard cuz some 1000 year old grandma and grandpa pulled out in front of me in there caddy. then got about 2-3 miles down the road and the abs light started to flash really fast and my indicator light will not come on anymore when i hit the brake.
i read the codes with my edge chip and hand no codes?
so what could it be fellas?
thanks again
Mitch
If you've completed wiring only half of a circuit, I'd start there. If, as Neal suggested, you connected a wire to the master cylinder but did not complete the circuit, that is most likely the problem. The loose wire may be "bumping" against something, momentarily completing the circuit, causing a signal the computer doesn't recognize, and so on...
Check your current wiring. If all connections are complete, then it's time to look elsewhere. If you left something half done, finish it or disconnect it and see what results you get.
Electrical ghosts are hard to chase down with a complete circuit. It's practically impossible to chase down a ghost on an incomplete circuit.
