TFI module and the pickup coil in the distributor. Usually no spark from the coil is one of those two at fault. You can also do a primary and secondary test on the coil if you have the procedure (Autozone's online repair guides has it, I also believe Haynes/Chilton's manuals have it, not sure if there is a procedure in the read first / tech note thread on the forum or not).

I've had that problem alot, I just changed everything, that way I knew I got the culprit!! LOL Check the plug on the TFI module, mine was loose, and even with ALL new components for the ignition, I had NO fire from my coil. Loose connector, TFI, Hidden nightmare!!
Loose wires on the TFI harness was a recall/TSB once and is part of the step by step in the factory manual. I
have had the connector be bad on the coil itself. Would test fine with a probe, but the part that connected to the coil lead itself was all rotted and let no juice through. Found it doing a cont. test from both sides of the coil connector. NAPA sells the connector with wires for about $18.
> I didn't know there was a recall item on either connector.... good to know!
It was either a TSB or recall. You had to do a multi-point test to determine if the TFI was bad, ending with the high tech method of ... wiggling the wires. Then you were allowed to replace the connector.
Ah, okay... I think I remember now reading that somewhere either in the tech section on here, TRS, or diyalldata or some such. I think it was a TSB, come to think of it. Basically the TFI module and wiring connector test procedure, if memory serves correctly now.
