Control Module

Hey, guys and gals

I have a 78 F250 6 cyl,Wondering if anyone might know the original base number for the ignition control module

Motorcraft service # DY-184C

It's the same as tons of other vehicles

??? Ford puts part numbers on all of their parts. The base number I am refering to should be on the module(electric) itself but I do no have the original to look at. This is what all the wiring goes to.

No....they put engineering numbers on their parts ....not part numbers.

I'll be back with number for you

EDIT:Engineering number D8VE-12A199-A1B,A2B

Part Number: D7AZ-12A199-B

Motorcraft number: DY-184-B

Used on all engines regardless of size. 300,302.351M,400,460
