Ok i have a 7.3 automatic and i have the dreaded leak from the collector. I did some searching and everyone says to remove the turbo. can this be done with out doing so? I have the new pipes donuts and collector, forgot the bolts but i should just be able to use bolts from stock. So i guess my only question is can this be done without removing the turbo, and if so can it be done with out seperating the up pipes from the collector (incase the bolts are so coroded they don't want to come out.)?
Its just easier to take the turbo out I dont think you can any other way and you have to remove the pipes from the Y to replace the donuts. When I did mine it took lots of PB blaster.
Its suppsoed to be you will see when you take the old one out. I was the same way cause it sure didnt look like a bend it looked liked it got dented but i guess its there for a reason i beleive its on the drivers side one.

Try peeling the rear of the passenger side fenderwell back and see if you can get at it that way without having to pull the turbo.
