Major issue

So I went to leave work yesterday and started my truck and it idled a little rough. So i let it warm up for a minute or two and every thing seemed fine. Along the 25 mile drive I started to hear what sounds like someone stuck a card in the spokes of a bicycle. It is only heard at more than 1200 RPMs. Can't tell what is making the noise lift pump, IP, turbo?

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the vacuum pump.

Did the power or smoke levels change?

No change of power or smoke. I will look at the vacuum pump tonight.

Also look at the fan belt while your in there.
