I know this must be a stupid question but I don't know anything about tire size and rim size, so here's the Q:
Can I install 14'' tires on 15" rims do they stretch in inch?
I'm asking this because I'm selling my 94 2.3 Ranger and it has almost new
Michelin tires, and my 3.0 has basic radial tires with no brand on it.
or maybe swap the whole thing, the 14'' rims+tires nice Aluminum ones,
the only thing that sucks it's gonna kill the 4x4 look on the 3.0
No. I wouldn't even try that. 15" tires for 15" rims etc. At least my F-250's tires say do not mount on any rim besides the size stamped on the sidewall... the only stupid question is the one that isn't asked....
Yeah, definantly not designed to stretch. Plus you'll throw your speedometer off by putting different size tires on. I'd just stick with what size you have or bigger. If you go smaller, that loss of 4x4 look will drive you crazy until you get it back.
