My local yard just started offering trucks and vans so the pickin's are lean. I need the mirror and back mounting cup only. Hate to think what the local "Stealership" wants! Thanks kevin-11
The dealer will want $200 ~ $300 for it. Not bad if you ask me for a power unit. For a non-power unit I'd imagine around $150.
I don't need the whole power unit. Just the mirror and apparentely the mount-pad or what clips on to the housing. It appears to me to be a ring or cup that snaps into a round housing. A couple to three hundered for a piece of glass mirror and a a piece of plastic for that price doesn't sound too reasonable to me. I have a round piece of convex mirror in the round reciever ring housing for something to catch the blindspot for now. Better than nothing and really rather makes you pay more attention when checking to the rear on the drivers side! Just no as big as the OEM mirror.
Yep - I had the glass on my Pass side, power mirror replaced it was under $60,, had to drop off at their shop they wanted $90 to do it in my parking lot at work.
