Just a heads up...

For y'all that have high miles on your PSD like I do (315,000), you might want to check the wiring harness that goes to the rear UVC on the drivers side. On my 95 the harness is tucked up under the air inlet on the turbo. It lays right on top of the head and gets plenty hot. My truck sudenly dropped out all 4 cylinders on the drivers side today and after stripping off the old brittle wire loom on that harness I found that the insulation on the wires feeding the injectors was melted off over a distance of about 4 inches! I don't know how it ran as long as it did. Anyway, something to keep in mind.

that seems to be a common problem on these trucks. i just rolled over 270k, any day now i could see mine go out.

fast freddie i feel that you are lucky to have gotten 315,000 out of yours. a couple of my buddies have gone out around 215,000 to 240,000 miles.

edit: haha that was my 400th post.
