PCV Valve question

1976 F-250 4X4 w/300-6. I don't think it has the correct PCV valve in it as it doesn't seem to fit right and have found a number of other kluge jobs elsewhere on this truck. The replacement PCV valve that Autozone calls for has two hose connections on it. The one that's on there now has only one. I know one connection goes to manifold vacuum, but where does the other one go to?

The second connection is typically used to send manifold vacuum somewhere else. The PCV valve should have come with a plug to put in it if it isn't used. (Can anybody beat 5 consecutive words starting with 'I'?)

Well that makes sense. Currently there is a tee that sends vacuum to the brake booster as well. The PCV valve as I remember it though has a smaller connection on the top. I didn't remember seeing a plug with it either but I will go back and look again.

The plug doesn't look like a regular rubber vacuum plug. It is a piece of hard plastic that is usually molded into the PCV valve. You have to break it off to use it.
