The Ford Super-Duty trucks are amazing. I see them everywhere doing all manner of things... from ambulancing, emergency service vehicles, pure rock crawlers, mud boggers, workhorses, utility service trucks, race trucks, lowered limos, lifted monsters, recovery vehicles, spotter trucks... the whole nine. These trucks are ridiculously popular, and I think that they are amazing no matter what's under the hood. So if you got pics of your truck in action, post em' here! Let's all gloat over that thing we do.
It's kind of funny... having had occasion to venture back into the Texas oilfield last week, I took notice of what trucks were driving around... as a gross estimate, I'd say 60% Ford SD's, 39% Dodge/Cummins, and MAYBE 1% Chevy... Further east in Timber country, the mix is about the same... I haven't been out west into hardcore farm country yet this month, so I can't say for sure, but I have a feeling it's about the same...
I'm fairly certain now that Chevy is a city man's truck....

Last year I bought a new F-250 SD and my friend bought a new Chevy Silverado 2500HD. I asked him why he chose the Chevy HD over the Ford SD. No kidding, he replied by saying "I dont need a truck built that heavy." After that, we both compared the two trucks (looking underneath and around). It was obvious that he was right, the SD was a lot beefier built truck.
Here's some of mine, nothing big, but 4LOW and a lot of tugging yielded me a nice tree to cut up This was the only one I took pictures off, I pulled a bunch of stumps and some other stuff that weekend ...
At least this thing gets used for what I bought it for - PLAYING.
