'07 seats help
The seats are too tall (or I am) and my head keeps rubbing against the headliner. This happens especially since the headliner has about a 3/4" lower section going right thru the middle of the roof (not sure why).
I have tried to just drive with the seat back more, but that is just starting to hurt my already screwed up back.
So I was thinking perhaps some aftermarket seats may help.
Dose anyone know a way I can lower the seats, or where I might find some reasonable custom aftermarke seats that would fit my 07?
thx.

I don't know of, nor can I see any way to, lower the stock seats. They are merely a seat frame on the sliding frame bolted to the floor, so nothing that you can take out to lower it.
I'm not sure of any seats being available that are custom made for the Ranger, but you can check places like eBay and call around and ask. If you have a regular cab, one of the issues will be will the seat fit from front to back without hitting the back window.
Hope you find a solution.
My mother, who isn't very tall, had small lift blocks installed under the back of the seat in her Explorer to make it more comfortable for her to drive (absolutely KILLED my back from then on) at a shop that made most of their money refitting vehicles for handicapped people to drive. Might look around for a similar place in your area, and go talk to them.
I'm wondering if your best bet may be to have the foam replaced with a thinner piece, but I don't know.
