y hello thar!
To quote Dave, "exhaust is purely opinion". Flowmaster is deep and rumbly, Magnaflow runs about the same, glasspacks sound kinda ricey. Face the strong fact that when you really rev it out, it's a six...period. It's not a V8, it's never going to sound like a V8.
I run a Classic Chambered muffler and have been quite satisfied, low tone, not overly loud, good rumble, loud as all get out when you're on it hard.

Welcome to FTE and the Ranger board.
My truck is a 2003 Ranger FX4 4.0L V6 Auto 4x4 extended cab. I have had 3 other Rangers but they were all 2.3 4cyl 2WD 5spd, so I'm kinda a noob at 4WD and V6. Anyody else from Tennessee round here?

The front suspension is a torsion bar front suspension. Basically, the stock torsion bars can be cranked to get you about 2" of lift. It's not a difficult operation at all. It's best if you get an alignment afterwords.

Maybe that'll help you understand it a little more. The worst part of the suspension is it's hard to find a true lift kit for torsion bar suspensions, basically all you can do is keep cranking the stock bars with new keys.
