Tailgate replacement
Someone broke out the rear window on my 91 XLT over the weekend, since the tailgate is all rusted out anyway and the glass replacement looks to be somewhat complicated I was considering replacing the whole thing with one from a junk yard. Has anyone on this board done this? Since the newer the tailgate the less likely the rust damage, does anyone know if a later model tailgate would fit my 91?

I believe the later years will fit..exc the wiring harness may be a bit different...
wish i didnt lose my gate X-reference page!..ask the guys at jeff's...
they sell new and used parts and are a good source
