1994 F-150 302 engine
okay this an update on previous post of "engine quits while driving". Thanks to all that have helped me on this and we may have narrowed it down to 2 things... we took it to Auto Zone and they ran codes and got a "212" code loss of IDM input to ECA ???? They researched and said injector circuit malfunction. Okay so does anyone know how to fix this? The other is to replace the pick-up coil... so does anyone know if the "212" could also cause engine to stop, cool off and then restart? I think we will go ahead and replace the pick-up coil but need more advice. Thanks

The IDM is ignition diagnostic monitor, and that is where the computer monitors the coil or ignition pulses or something. It's not injector related at all, but could be TFI module related or distributor related. I think it would definitely be related to the engine stalling problem.
