Question wiring harness

Hey,

I'm looking for a complete wiring harness for a 6.9L/7.3L diesel (haven't decided which one yet) so I can swap a diesel into my '89.

Other than trying to find a donor vehicle with a used harness, is there anyplace where I can buy a pre-made/custom harness?

Thanks!

Ford had them still available, but I bought mine a couple years ago.
They are proud of them though, I think it was 150 dollars.

Is your bad?

The harness on a 6.9 will not plug into the truck harness on an 89.
If you build a 6.9, just use the 89 harness you have on the 6.9.

I am running a 94 harnesss on my 85 motor, but I had to splice wires at the engine to chassis connector to make it work.

Its not like its bad, because I dont have a diesel truck.

I was just throwing around the idea of swapping a 7.3 or 6.9 into my '89.
My brothers attempting to make biodiesel for his '93 W-350 cummins.
Im not shure if i'll do it or not, we'll see.

Thanks!
