LLS System Conversion
I just finished converting my 97 EB 4WD with 4 wheel LLS to springs (7 hours). I used rear springs from Strutmasters and I got the front shocks from my local auto parts store. The rear springs wern't too hard to get in. The only problem I had was getting the axil down far enough to put the springs in (a spring compressor would have helped). The front shocks were more difficult. I used Monrore SENSA-TRAC LOAD ADJUSTING(coil-over) SHOCK ABSORBERS part#58518. They were hard to get compressed enough to get installed. I had to unbolt the upper ball joint and take the shock apart to get it in. Again a spring compressor would have been a great help. I haven't noticed any difference in the way it rides, it's just as smooth as it was before.
