Sway bars

Hello, my 96 150 2wd didn't come with sway bars, front or rear. I looked at a couple half tonners that did have them, including a 1st gen Lightning, and I see the front bar is mounted to a location under the coils. Looks like the front suspension has to come out to mount them. Is there an easier way? Thanx!

I don't work on 2x4 's (there are very few here. ) but according couple blow ups diagrams I have in front of me. .It looks like they bolt to the top of I-beam or mount to a base that goes under coil spring (no help) .But they are easy to do. Just do some research on the . On a 4x4 the sway mount under coils . If you don't want the hassle . Our sponsors like NPD and others have kits for front and rear about $110 each . You could go after market in front and get a stocker in back save some $$. But if you have to buy allot of new bushings and links the kit may be way to go. Good luck
