Finally got me one!

Just got home with new to me 2000 Excursion Limited. 111,000 miles, some hail damage to the hood and top. Things that need attention; door locks don't work, tires need balancing, possible front end alignment and brake rotors are warped. Just went to look and wife said go for it!! Think I'll keep her! Think I'll keep them both! LOL Will post some pics hopefully tomorrow.

I got it from a dealer in Topeka, Ks, traded a 97 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and 4 grand. Asking price was $8988 internet special. Im a happy camper. The best part is when I test drove it I was really impressed with the acceleration, thought it had a 3.73 but found window sticker in glove box, 4.30's!!! Should pull my 5500 lbs TT with ease. Driving home wife says "What are you grinning at"? BSEG!!!!!

With the 4.30`s you found a needle in a haystack! and the best part is you will get the same MPG as those of us that have the 3.73`s, and the towing will be that much better.

Good luck with it and keep us up to date on what problems you come across and your fixes!

Fixed all five door lock actuators today. Took me about 5 hours but I didn't rush except when I forgot and left a flashlight inside of the drivers door. Oh well live and learn, hearing those doors lock like they are supposed to in awesome! Next, need to get 2nd key made and programmed (just bought off E-bay for $3.51!) then tires need to be balanced. Congrats. EBAY has hoods and rotors if you're looking. I just got mine a week ago and am already upgrading. Wife says customizing is a disease but what a way to die !!!!!
